Cress


As the cold dull weather has not inspired a mood for egg and cress sandwiches, Simon has, thus far, avoided the chop. His hours are numbered though as he will soon be past his peak. A ritual eating of the said sandwich during the Monaco qualies could be on the cards for tomorrow.
edit. I'm thinking more the late Malcolm Maclaren look rather than Simon C at this stage.

  1. Yes you'd better eat Simon up quickly or you might miss out on the best taste of him! I bought a plastic container of cress last week and had half on Saturday but when I looked at it to have the rest a few days later it had all dried up and gone yellow and leggy! I did keep it on the kitchen windowsill and dampened the root mat too! Maybe yours will stay crisp and green as its "home made" rather than shop bought!
